EZTest® BI
EZTest® Biological Indicators
- EZTest is a self-contained biological indicator (BI) for monitoring sterilization for solid loads.
- For use in steam, ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, or hydrogen peroxide sterilizers.
- Bacterial spores on a filter-paper carrier packaged within a small, thermoplastic culture tube.
- Inside is a sealed-glass ampoule of specially formulated soybean casein digest culture medium containing a color indicator which turns a dramatic yellow when growth occurs.
- Easy-to-use in-office; no laboratory transfer needed
- Dramatic visual results within 24 hours (48 hours for ethylene oxide)
EZTest® Biological Indicator Test Packs
- Convenient, FDA-Approved process challenge devices (PCDs) for monitoring steam or ethylene oxide effectiveness
- Meets AAMI challenge standards
- Each pack contains one EZTest BI and one chemical integrator record card
- Ethylene oxide test pack features the BI in a stoppered filtered tube
- Steam test packs feature the BI in the center of a deck of paper cards
For use with the EZTest® 1410 Incubator.
The EZTest® Starter Kit includes: 1 of EZTest 1410 Incubator, 25 vials of EZTest BIs and 1 of Logbook.
