Our SterilAmp II Biological Indicator is a compact, self-contained biological indicator for monitoring steam sterilization of small liquid loads of less than 150mL. SterilAmp II is a small, sealed, glass ampoule containing 0.3mL of spore/medium suspension that turns a dramatic yellow when spores grow. The SterilAmp II provides easy visual confirmation of sterilization within 48 hours , without the need for difficult and time-consuming laboratory work. The ampoule may be placed inside thermowells, test tubes, or small containers and will float in liquid.
